What is Unify to Thrive?
Unify to Thrive is a non-profit movement fully dedicated to eliminating the suffering and loss caused by cancer. We do this by supporting the four major principles of cancer research: Patient support, Education, Research, and Advocacy. All proceeds go to St. Judes Childrens Hospital because children and our future are most important.
What is the purpose of the Unify to Thrive clothing line?
The clothing line was the catalyst to get Unify to Thrive up and running. At every Thrive show Unify to Thrive and the band Thrive started contributing a portion of their merchandise revenue to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. The apparel line is a way to raise money for the children, keep the movement up and running and to ensure growth to lead to larger donations and fundraisers.
How you can help?
Donations and apparel purchases are the way you can help. Also, volunteers are always needed for upcoming fundraising events. Every piece of effort from volunteers and donaters is just one more step to stopping the lose caused by cancer.
How did Unify to Thrive start?
Unify to Thrive was created by Scott Schipper who plays saxophone in a reggae pop group named Thrive. Scott realized that he plays in a Cali reggae scene where 100's of 1000's of people can be reached at the click of a button on facebook. This realization inspired Scott to start the Unify to Thrive movement and make it his personal goal to educate and change the way society looks at cancer.
Who is Thrive?
Thrive is a reggae pop band based out of Santa Cruz, CA. Thrive is fully behind the Unify to Thrive movement and has been there for Scott since his Diagnoses. The band still tours with Scott full time. Thrive doesnt let up on spreading the word on how to stop cancer in its tracks and promoting a positive message of appreciation for life. Who is Vibes Entertainment Group?
Vibes Entertainment Group is the management group that represents Thrive the band and was founded by Daniel Sheehan . Vibes Entertainment Group is backed by true compassion and heart. V.E.G. has taken into consideration the circumstance of having a band on board that is dealing with such a terrible ailment. V.E.G. has risen above and beyond and has shown compassion towards making being on the road as comfortable as possible for Scott and Thrive.
